School Centenary
The Village School was opened on 21st June 1875. To mark 100 years of the school a parade was held through the village, children and staff wearing victorian outfits.

The gentleman in front was Arthur Bailey and the donkey’s name was Jacko.

The school was built with red Belbroughton bricks and cost £220.00. The land had been given by Rev. H. A. Woodgate, Rector of Belbroughton.
