Jobs Fair Message From Sajid Javid

I am writing to inform you that I’ll be hosting my Sixth Annual Jobs Fair on Friday, November 27, 10:00am – 12 Noon. This year, for the first time, the event will be held online.

The fair, which is free to attend and exhibit at, brings together businesses looking for new employees, apprentices and volunteers together with prospective jobseekers. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for work, or a career change, to meet with local and national organisations.

In these challenging economic times, the work of local businesses and organisations has never been so important. Where employment opportunities are available, it is important to help people seize them, so we can secure the strongest possible economic recovery from this virus.

The Fair has turned into an important annual event. I am very proud of its strong track record of creating more opportunities for local people and companies.

I have enclosed some information and promotional material about the Fair [see images below]. I would be most grateful if you would be kind enough to share these online, display them in any public area you may have and pass on the word about the event within your community.

I would like to personally assure you that this event remains strictly non-political.  The Fair is not about promoting a certain political opinion or party, it’s about bringing our local community together to support jobseekers and local organisations.  I am hosting it in partnership with our local JobCentre Plus.

If you have any questions at all, please contact me via or on 020 7219 0930.

Thank you very much for your time.
