Table Top Sale & Freecycle Corner

If you would like to sell your unwanted items at our Tabletop Sale the cost is £5.00 per table, alternatively you can give your items away in our Freecycle, where this no charge, see below for T&Cs.

During the event, the Forfeld Café will be open.

Table Top Sale

The hall will be open from 11.15am for sellers

  1. Sellers will be responsible for everything they sell.
  2. We ask that you DO NOT bring broken items, dangerous or flammable items (no kitchen knives, chemicals, paints, etc.. please) or anything in a condition that you wouldn’t be happy to receive yourself. Dangerous or flammable items can, however, be displayed as photos (in the same way as larger items) for a later arranged collection.
  3. For everyone’s safety, please take all reasonable measures to check the safety and condition of any items or tools given. 
  4. Fairfield Village Hall reserves the right to reject items if they are too large or impractical to display and/or offer at the event without needing to justify its decision.
  5. Any items not taken by the end of the event need to be taken home or disposed of by whoever brought them to the event.

Freecycle Corner

FreeCycle corner will take place in the Barton Room at the Village Hall during the Tabletop Sale on Saturday 16th March, 12noon to 2.30pm.  This initiative is based on a ‘Give and Take’ event. People Donate items that are unwanted yet still have life left in them and takeaway useful items from other people (whether or not they have brought anything) – all for free.

Please bring along clean usable items in good condition to the hall between 10:30am and 12noon on the day of the event.

The following are all welcome

  • kitchen and home and garden items
  • Small gardening equipment, tools, storage containers
  • craft supplies
  • bric-a-brac
  • toys and games
  • Jigsaws
  • unwanted presents
  • Unused toiletries and perfumes.
  • Small electrical items
  • Photos can be brought of larger items e.g. furniture, bikes, statues, large garden equipment  etc., which will be displayed on a board at the event with contact details for collection at a later stage (arranged directly by the recipient).

Terms & Conditions for leaving items in FreeCycle Corner:

  1. Items must be of a size that can be carried home in a bag or in a car boot.
  2. Terms & Conditions for taking items away from FreeCycle corner:

  1. Fairfield Village Hall cannot accept any responsibility for items taken from Recycle Corner and the items are made available ‘as seen’ without any actual or implied warranty. For your own safety, please take all reasonable measures to check the condition of any items or tools taken away.
  2. Electrical items will not have been PAT tested, but power will be available on the day for in interested parties to test items where practical.
  3. Items cannot be assumed to be ‘complete’ and are offered ‘as seen,’ especially but not exclusively, toys and tools.

Please do not take items and resell them; if taken and no longer needed, please donate on.
